Zack is an English writer and performer based in York, United Kingdom. Born in 1992 and raised in the small industrial town of Billingham.

Zack studied drama and theatre in York and trained primarily in classical and physical theatre, performing many productions up and down the country, plays stretching from Shakespeare’s to immersive horror productions, pantomimes, comedy and classical theatre.

He grew up around fantasy literature, film and TV, which forged his passion for great fantasy adventures, such as Conan the Barbarian, The Lord of the Rings and so on. Epic sword and sorcery have always been his obsession and mythologies from all the ancient cultures of the world, his escape. To create a fantasy world of his own had been his dream since early childhood and thus the world of Altharn was born.

R.A. Salvatore, H.P. Lovecraft, George R.R. Martin, Robert E. Howard and of course, J.R.R. Tolkien are some of the many legends of fantasy and fiction that inspired Zack’s work.
